Signature Scent

Have you ever walked past someone and was like  "You smell GOOOOOD?"

You ever know when a specific someone enters a room from their smell....Thats called their Signature Scent.

When you reach a certain age I think you should just settle down for one scent and make it your own.

Its okay to try different perfumes, switch it up sometimes, or change the scent every season, but is there just ONE scent that you just absolutely LOVE?

I'm still searching, but right now I just LOVE HANAE MORI for the fall/winter. It's like a match made in heaven, because if you know me personally I also LOVE BUTTERFLIES and its her signature to have folded butterfly wings as a top on every bottle, which represents the beauty and delicate shape of this amazing creature.

This scent is unique and like no other!

The fragrance is a rare blend of berries and flower, with a distinctive tone of strawberries and almond, giving an impression of vanilla with a hint of sandalwood.

I suggest this scent for people who like warm inviting scents it has a fruity floral tone to it.

Hanae Mori also has a Signature Scent for men too!

It definitely has that "double-take" effect on a brother, so guys you might want to check this Cologne out :)

 5 Ways to make your scent last longer:
   
#1 Layer the fragrance - Use a complimenting soap/shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, and powder of your desired scent.

#2  Pulse points -These are the areas that produce heat. The pulse points are located at the temples, the base of the throat, between the breasts, the wrists, the bend of the elbow, the back of your knees, and ankles. Also, put a bit of Vaseline (olive oil or shea butter would work well too) on the points you plan to spray on.

#3 To make the scent long lasting, you have to spray right after you are out of the shower, because your pores are still open.

#4 Spray yourself from a distance of  at least 12 inches then step into it. This helps to distribute the scent over your entire body.
 
#5 For Ladies, you can wear a small cotton ball infused with your perfume inside your bra for a long lasting scented impression. That way you can avoid applying perfume right into the folds of the skin in that area, where sweat can cause irritation.

Dear healthy conscious CHOCOLATE LOVERS I came to save the day!

I don't eat Chocolate all the time (I'm more of a Caramel, Toffee, and Cinnamon Roll kinda gal...lol), but when I do crave it I don't want to overindulge in CALORIES!!!

Winter Must Have....

The Must Have for this season is lip protectant!
In this harsh weather we must keep our lips moisturized.

I absolutely can not...I REPEAT can NOT live without my favorite: Mentha Lip Tint Gloss by CO Bigelow Apothecaries from Bath & Body Works.

I spent an hour with two 11-year old girls to talk about goals and dreams.

All they wanted out of life was to.....

• Be Mrs. Justin Beiber
• Have little baby Beibers
• Be Young, Rich & FAMOUS FOREVER

By this time I was SICK & TIRED of hearing about JUSTIN BEIBER!!!

So I decided to discuss what obstacles could they possibly face while trying to pursue their dreams.

The answers went something like this....

•  I'll date the Justin Beiber look-alike in my class
• or if I can't have him I'll just GET A LIFE!!!! 

They must have read my mind "Get a Life" was the BEST answer!

I can't lie Justin Beiber is a Cutie & pretty fly for a "white guy" lol


This whole conversation just made me reflect on my younger days & how I had a crush on B2K - Lil' Fizz & Lil' Zane.

BEST Friends

This post was inspired by my BEST Friends, because their encouragement helped me start this blog. BEST Friends should not just be limited to one person or someone you known for a long time, but the BEST people you ever meet! I actually have gone through different BEST friends throughout my life.

A best friend is not only someone you have a good time with, it is someone you believe you can trust. A best friend is someone you can call when the most amazing things happen in your life, and when the most horrific incidents happen. A best friend is the person you will always remember no matter what comes about. Some people have lost their best friend(s) that new ones can't replace. A best friend is almost like real family, they tell you exactly what you need to hear regardless of whether you want to hear it or not. You should never be envious of your best friend, and is the person you are so grateful to have as a friend. A best friend is the one who will forgive you always, even when you've done the un-thinkable. And a best friend is the one who even though you may have drifted apart from, are always there when you need them the most with open arms, consolement, hugs, and high fives. You can confide in them and they know you the BEST, even when you think you've changed. A best friend is someone who encourages to be the BEST you can be. They keep it REAL(100)!

I notice when a New Year comes around people tend to qoute things like "A new year, a new me, new friends, new everything," but don't forget to keep those friends that are in your BEST INTEREST!

My goal this year is to be a BETTER friend.
